we detected a new cpanel bug from latest cPanel version 84.0.10.

Summery: not able to create a new cPanel addon domain and alias. Our dev team reported this issue to cPanel support team they provided an issue reported number: 30268. Once they fixed this issue then they will publish in their cpanel changeslog page
